Fingerprints, DNA on databases, CCTV
Life has a price called healthcare budgets
Policeman collecting on monthly targets
Torture we legitimise, national security hides the crime
Crony capitalism relies on sale of weapons to survive

Cogs in my mind are turning round

Now journalists with wiretaps
Spew propaganda to fill the gaps
All questions must be pre-approved
In fear of what they have to lose
They assassinate and ridicule
When they know you’re onto something cool
But I'm sure I've seen this all before
